Welcome to the Private Scholarship Information Web Site of the WVU Foundation, Inc. This site contains information about each scholarship that was funded through the generosity of our donors.

As you review the scholarships, please keep in mind that not all scholarships listed are available to all students. Many have restrictions which limit their availability. For those that require demonstrated financial need, the University requires students to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Some scholarships, including many awarded to incoming freshmen, have also been designated by the donor for exclusive use by the WVU Scholars Program.

While the Foundation administers certain aspects of the privately funded scholarships, it does not award them. To learn more about the scholarship award process, please contact the WVU Undergraduate Scholarship Office at scholars@mail.wvu.edu.
